Tasty foodTakeaway
I ordered from Spice Cottage in Sallynoggin and was really disappointed with the experience. One of the chicken starters arrived clearly undercooked (photo attached), which made it unsafe to eat. When I called to let them know, I was told the chef insisted it was cooked, even though the meat was visibly raw. They did offer a €7 refund for the starter, but the response felt dismissive rather than concerned.
On top of that, the order arrived about 40 minutes late. Overall, the combination of undercooked food, poor handling of the issue, and late delivery really spoiled our evening. I won’t be ordering again.
Have ordered before from Spice Cottage and food was always great. But yesterday, we ordered two starters (onion baji and chicken pakura), both were soaking in grease and virtually inedible…we ordered one main (chicken tikka masala with Pilau rice), the rice was the best part!! The Nasn bread was soggy. Feels like a completely different takeaway/chef…reluctant to try again!!!
